Most of us wish that we could grow our own organic produce, but more often than not (especially for us city dwellers), we’re challenged by spatial limitations that make it difficult to grow ANYTHING.
But, there’s a solution!
VERTICAL GROWING
For those that have followed our blog for awhile, you know that we previously touched on vertical gardening, specifically pertaining to cucumbers.
You won’t believe the ground space you’ll save by growing vertically, especially in the case of vining plants or vegetables. For those who have plenty of room in the backyard to set aside part of it to plant a garden, traditional planting methods with work just fine. However, for those who don’t have the room to set aside for planting, try this alternative planting method that is quickly becoming a global phenomenon in gardening.
With the surge in GMO filled vegetables and fruits, home gardening has become very popular in recent decades and fresh grown fruits eliminate the risk of chemical contamination, and are cheaper and more delicious than the store bought alternative.
Give vertical growing a try! You’ll be amazed at how much more produce you yield, and with half the spatial requirements of a regular garden!
