Turmeric Pain Relief Tea Recipe To Help Soothe Your Aches And Pains
For years we’ve relied on OTC and prescription painkillers to help alleviate aches and pains. Long-term use of these pills could result in negative side effects like hypertension (high blood pressure), erectile dysfunction, diarrhea/nausea, gastrointestinal bleeding, increased risk of heart attack, potential kidney cancer formation and more.
Thankfully, nature provided us with a natural remedy for it all – turmeric. While ibuprofen and similar NSAIDs impede the Cyclooxygenase 2 or COX – 2 enzymes and may cause further inflammation, turmeric acts mildly, is highly effective, and has zero negative side effects.
Turmeric is packed with a very potent compound, known as curcumin, which helps to alleviate pain and inflammation.
Here’s a quick and easy recipe to make your own turmeric tea at home. **Turmeric tea is not recommended if you are breastfeeding or pregnant.
