Do you feel like you’re living in a fog and need to take a step back from your reality to see things clearly? If so, you should.
Oftentimes we can’t see what’s really going on in our lives because we’ve been we’re too much a part of it.
Think of your life as a vast painting. You can’t understand the full picture if you’re only looking at a small section. Take a step back and you’ll be amazed at how much easier it is to connect the dots.
The best way to see if you’re making the right decisions, if you’re being treated right, or if you’re getting what you deserve is to look at things from a different perspective. The advice we need to hear is the advice we give to others. Practice talking to yourself as if you’re talking to a friend in need.
- It’s up to you to believe what is the most honest.
“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is perspective, not the truth.”
- Perspective can show you the truth.
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
- People can’t hide who they are forever.
“I gave you $10, he gave you $20. You felt that he was better just because he gave you more. But he had $200 dollars, and all I had was $10.”
- It all depends on how you look at it and what you allow yourself to see.
“If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough.”
We can’t control much of what happens in our lives, but we CAN shift our perspective on how we view such events.
“Life is 10 percent what you make it and 90 percent how you take it.” ― Irving Berlin
