Never See A Spider in Your House Again If You Do These 5 Things

While most spiders and insects don’t pose any threat to humans, most people cringe at the thought of either taking up residence in their home.

So what should you do when you find yourself locked in the bathroom and paralyzed with fear after a heart-stopping encounter with what may have been the biggest, baddest, fangiest spider you’ve ever seen?

First things first, you should probably leave the bathroom. Unless it was a brown recluse or black widow (both venomous and potentially life-threatening to humans), you probably aren’t in any serious danger

But, what’s the best method for giving your invertebrate house guests the boot?

Many of us turn to commercial products to repel bugs and spiders — many of which are effective but oftentimes loaded with potentially harmful chemicals. Yikes!

Rather than swapping one problem for another, we suggest you give the following all-natural remedies a shot. You’ll be amazed how quickly your spider and insect problem is eliminated without the use of toxic chemicals!!

Citrus
Spiders hate citrus fruits. Eliminate them quickly by rubbing lemon and orange peels on areas where spiders appear, such as baseboards.

White Vinegar
Mix 1 part vinegar in two parts water in a spray bottle and spray all around the house and the yard. The smell will keep ants, mosquitoes, and spiders at bay.

Does Cedar Repel Spiders?
Repel spiders by placing cedar blocks in your cupboards, closets, and garden.

Does Peppermint Essential Oil Repel Spiders
Make a natural peppermint essential oil repellent by mixing 8 drops of essential oil with a bit of liquid dish soap. If the solution does not smell minty enough, you can add 8 more drops of peppermint essential oil. Shake well and spray all around the house.

Clean Up, Clean Up, Clean Up!
You can reduce your risk of insect and spider infestation by keeping your home tidy and free of clutter.

If you have a lawn be sure to keep landscaping under control and be on the lookout for cracks in windows / doors. More often than not, this is the point of entry for your unwanted guests.
