This Bath Eliminates Toxins, Reduces Inflammation, And Improves Blood Flow

Don Patrick December 13, 2021

Epsom salt has been used for centuries for its beneficial properties in many facets of life including detox, gardening, and household cleaning.

The name comes from the bitter saline spring at Epsom in Surrey, England. This salt is different from others as it is a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate, both of which offer potent health benefits and detox the entire organism.

Epsom salt is readily absorbed into the porous skin and enters the bloodstream, thereby removing the toxins. When added to bathwater, these salts stimulate a process known as reverse osmosis, which eliminates salt and the dangerous toxins from the body, leaving space for the magnesium and sulfate to enter the system.

Magnesium is a crucial component for more than 325 enzymes as it soothes inflammation, enhances the function of nerves and muscles, boosts blood flow, and promotes oxygenation throughout the body.

The use of regular Epsom salt baths helps alleviate inflammation, regulates mineral and sulfur balance in the body, promotes detoxification, and helps to treat muscle pain and chronic disease.

Epsom Salt Bath Instructions

Epsom salt baths should last around 40 minutes, as the body needs 20 minutes to eliminate toxins, and 20 more to absorb the minerals in the bathwater.

Fill a bath with warm water and add the Epsom salts in the amounts as listed below:

  • Children under 60 lbs: Add 1/2 cup of salts to a standard size bath
  • People between 60-100 lbs: Add 1 cup of salts to a standard size bath
  • People between 100-150 lbs: Add 1 1/2 cup of salts to a standard size bath
  • People between 150-200 lbs: Add 2 cups of salts to a standard size bath

*Add an additional 1/2 cup for every additional 50 lbs.

If you find yourself battling chronic fatigue and muscle pain, perhaps you should try treating your symptoms with an Epsom salt bath. It’ll not only leave you feeling refreshed, but will also help alleviate your ailments.
