Speed Up Your Metabolism And Shed Pounds By Adding These 3 Ingredients To Your Coffee

Don Patrick August 23, 2021

Whether the benefits are mental or physical, coffee drinkers swear by the positive effects that come along with their daily cup of joe. Now, you can bring even more benefit to your morning brew with this quick and easy recipe that’ll turn your coffee into a powerful metabolism booster by adding just 3 ingredients!

While it’s recommended that the beverage should be consumed in moderation, research has proven that there are numerous health benefits associated with drinking coffee including:

  • Improved energy levels
  • Lowered risk of developing Type II Diabetes
  • Protection from Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Help burn fat

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Coconut oil
Known for its wide range of uses, coconut oil contains medium-chain fatty acids that are pushed to the liver during digestion and converted to energy or ketone bodies. This process boosts the metabolism, burning fat faster and more efficiently.
  • Raw Honey
Honey is loaded with vitamins (B6, folate, vitamin C, niacin, and riboflavin) and minerals, (iron, calcium, sodium, zinc, potassium, and phosphorus), as well as natural sugar needed for energy. Honey has been scientifically confirmed to be able to lower stress and regulate blood cholesterol levels.
  • Cinnamon
Due to its antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties, cinnamon neutralizes the damage caused by free radicals and fights inflammation in the body. Additionally, it boosts the blood sugar metabolism and prevents the accumulation of fat in the body as it supports the conversion of sugar into energy. While there are several kinds of cinnamon, Ceylon and Cassia are best in this case.

THE RECIPE
Mix the following ingredients together in a bowl. Store in fridge.

  • ¾ cup coconut oil
  • ½ tbsp of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Add a teaspoon or two of the mixture to your freshly brewed coffee daily and enjoy!
